Attendance Allowance

For a small donation of £25, we offer help with filling in attendance allowance forms.

The form is not easy to complete. However, to date, we have been 100% successful in helping people make their claim.

So far we have helped people apply collectively for more than £1.5 million per annum.

In 2025, we successfully helped 23 new applicants (see our impact report here) which will collectively bring £131,500PA between those applicants.

Attendance Allowence takes some pressure off the costs of support which, in turn, gives people more support time. It also creates more employment for micro providers, boosting local economy.

What is attendance allowance?

Attendance allowance is a government-given allowance to people who have a long-term physical or mental disability and that require care. This also requires the recipient to be above pension age.

The allowance isn’t means tested so you can claim no matter your income or savings, even if you are still working or studying.

You can spend the allowance on anything that makes your life easier.

Your local council will consider this while figuring out your care costs.

The allowance won’t reduce any other benefits you may have and could potentially increase them.
