Wivey Secret Gardens 2026
Wivey’s Secret Gardens await – this is your chance to explore what is normally hidden behind walls and fences!
Not only can you explore gardens, you can also visit the Arts and Craft Fair, have a guided tour around St Andrews Churchyard and attend interesting wildlife and garden-related talks.
The Gardens
We have a range of gardens for you to visit over the weekend – each completely unique.
Most gardens will be open on both days from 11AM until 4PM with some exceptions that will be clearly labeled in your Garden Passport. You will be provided with a map that you can follow, and signage will be placed around Wivey to help you locate each garden.
You will also find descriptions of each garden within the passport which will indicate accessibility.
If you have any questions, or something isn’t clear, there will be plenty of Garden Helpers around to help you! Failing that, we will be located in Jubilee Gardens from 10AM – 5PM ready to help.
Wildlife & Garden Talks
On the Saturday (6th) evening, Pauline Homeshaw will host guests in the Community Center.
Doors open at 5:30PM for a 6PM start.
Entry is free with donations welcome.
Pauline Homeshaw’s guests are Jennifer Kenn, who is restoring a one-acre sized David Austin rose garden from scratch, and James Grischeff, Director of Nature Recovery, Somerset Wildlife Trust.
